StarrMatica is the first site to assist elementary teachers by combining the useful features of software products with the child friendly learning resources found on the Web. Research shows that computer assisted learning is most effective when integrated into classroom instruction by a teacher, so StarrMatica is designed to be a comprehensive resource to help teachers integrate online resources at school and to provide a catalyst for parental involvement at home.

Animated instructional examples can be used as a lesson introduction or review.

Web links found on our resources pages provide teachers with access to online instructional tools such as venn diagrams and fraction bars as well as additional student practice activities.
Student progress accounts, which can be viewed by students, teachers, and parents record scores from practice activities and assessments.

StarrMatica’s content easily adapts for use in whole class settings with an LCD projector or interactive whiteboard, with an entire class working independently in a computer lab, with individual students who need additional instruction, practice or enrichment, or as homework assignments.
