Lesson Content Upgrades

A slider bar and navigation controls that allow users to fast forward, rewind, stop and play instructional slides was added to the following lessons during the month of October:

Cause and Effect
Comparing and Ordering
Geometry Basics
Place Value
Probability
Rounding
Tables and Graphs

Clicking once on the small video camera in the bottom right corner of instructional slides in these lessons reveals the slider bar and navigation controls. Clicking again hides the slider bar, and clicking a third time hides the navigation controls.

Server Upgrade

Because of StarrMatica's increasing membership, on October 18th, we relocated our site to a dedicated server to continue to provide you with the fastest content access possible.

Basic Facts

In September, Basic Facts lessons for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division were added to the site. Students with classroom management accounts have the ability to take a benchmark test in the practice section to record a list of facts they know and a list of facts they need to learn. Then, when these students select a game to play and click on "My Facts", they will be practicing facts from their customized list. Students without classroom management accounts can still benefit from our benchmark tests and practice activities, just without the ability to record and use a "my facts" list.

Troubleshooting

When typing StarrMatica's address into your browser, make sure you use the full address including "www". Omitting "www" allows you access the interface but leaves the index blank.
